About Bob Healing

Bob Healing held a variety of legal positions in commercial law, securities law, and corporate governance at General Electric Company from 1971 to 2004. He was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps between 1966 and 1969, including a year as artillery platoon commander in Vietnam in 1968. He has served as Clerk of the Pittsfield, Massachusetts Board of Zoning Appeals; Director of the Washington, D.C. and the Westchester and Fairfield Corporate Counsel Associations; was the Founder and Board Chair of the Pro Bono Partnership; and Stewardship Chair of the Wilton Congregational Church in Connecticut. In addition to his service on the Laboratory’s Board from 2007 to 2012, he was also a director at Mid Coast Health Services and at Embrace a Vet in Brunswick, Maine and was a sponsoring member of The Oceanography Society. He has a BS degree in Economics from Holy Cross College and a JD from Cornell Law School.
