About Stewart Bither

Stewart Bither has worked for the past 40 years as a consultant to a number of multidivisional companies in helping them manage new ventures. These ventures encompass a wide spectrum of technologies and markets. Examples range from working with the prime contractor on the first space shuttle launch to leading a recent project instrumental in the successful global introduction of a low polluting refrigerant.

Stew graduated from Dartmouth College, the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration and received his PhD from the University of Washington. He has taught in MBA and executive programs at a number of universities and is Emeritus Professor of Business at the Pennsylvania State University.

Stew and his wife Nancy are Bigelow Lab neighbors living across the road on Linekin Bay. They have been active with the Boothbay Region Land Trust, are enthusiastic supporters of junior ski racing and spend happy summers trying to keep up with five grandchildren.
