Dates, Fees, & Financial Aid

Fall 2025 Dates:

September 3 - December 12 (14 weeks)

Program Fees

We will work with you so that the cost of the program is as close as possible to what you’re currently paying for a semester at your home institution. The total cost for the Sea Change Semester program is based on the comprehensive fees for Colby College.

Program fees include:

• Tuition
• 16 semester hours of credit (fully accredited by Colby College)
• Housing at the Graham Shimmield Residence Hall
• One time grocery stipend (direct deposited into account)

Program fees do not include:

• $250 security deposit for residence hall due upon arrival
• Travel expenses to and from East Boothbay, Maine
• Personal expenses (we estimate that students might spend $50-300)

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to ensure that the semester does not cost more than the equivalent semester at your home college. Financial aid is limited and decided on a rolling basis. Students who complete their application by December 15 will have full consideration for financial aid.
